Welcome to the Anchormen

The Anchormen are a UK registered charity based in Elland, Halifax, West Yorkshire. We have a long and very successful marching band history and can trace our roots all the way back to 1904.

In more recent times we predominantly run dance classes for young children at Brooksbank Sports College, in the Right Hand Gym. Around the back of the school is a car park. Enter the Main Sports Hall and follow the signs for the Right Hand Gym.

Dance classes in Elland

The Anchormen have successful dance teams who rehearse at Brooksbank School, Elland.

  • Beginners Class – Aged 6+ –  Wednesday 6-7pm

  • Cadets – Aged 6-11 – Wednesday 6-7pm

Free First Dance Class

Beginners dance class is on Wednesday 6.00pm to 7.00pm. First session is free.
