A Big Win on Home Turf – Anchormen Dance Competition 2025

On Sunday 16th March 2025, The Anchormen proudly hosted their very own dance competition at Leeds Beckett University’s Headingley Campus. It was a fantastic day filled with energy, excitement, and community spirit as 15 groups from across the North of England came together to perform.

The event welcomed a vibrant mix of colourguard teams and Sound Sport bands, each bringing their unique style and passion to the floor. The atmosphere was electric, with the audience showing their support through enthusiastic cheers and heartfelt applause for every single group.

We’re thrilled to share that our very own Anchormen cadet team took 1st place in their class, delivering a brilliant performance that made us all proud!

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make the event such a success—from the performers and volunteers to the supporters in the stands. Thanks for coming along and supporting our event. See you in 2026!
